Netflix has revealed a new promotional image for its live-action series, based on Yoshihiro Togashi 's anime and manga series  Yu Yu Hakusho . The image features actor Kanata Hongō as Hiei .

Kazutaka Sakamoto is the executive producer of the live-action series. Akira Morii is producing the adaptation at Robot. The live-action Yuyu Hakusho is scheduled to premiere on Netflix in December 2023.

Synopsis:

In short, Yu Yu Hakusho follows the story of Yusuke Urameshi, a delinquent who, in an uncharacteristic act of altruism, is hit by a car and killed in an attempt to save a little boy by pushing him out of the way.

Thus, the Yu Yu Hakusho by author Yoshihiro Togashi was published in Shōnen Jump between 1990 and 1994. Finally, the adaptation of the anime Yu Yu Hakusho arrived in Brazil via the former TV Manchete.
