The new Yu Yu Hakusho anime was revealed during Jump Festa 2018 this weekend!
Big news took fans by surprise this weekend, especially the Old-School guard. An announcement at the Bandai Visual booth during the Jump Festa 2018 event this Saturday (12/16) showed that Yu Yu Hakusho will get a new anime .
For now we don't know anything about this new animated work, but fans will certainly be keeping an eye out. Other information will be announced in the future.
Yoshihiro Togashi, the same person behind the manga Hunter The manga follows 14-year-old delinquent Yusuke Urameshi, who dies after saving a child in a car accident. The spiritual world is surprised by his death and offers him the chance to return as a “spiritual detective” who is tasked with defeating demons.

The TV anime adaptation produced by Studio Pierrot ran from 1992 to 1995 and is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. The series also inspired two films and two OVAs. In Brazil, the anime was shown in the 1990s on Rede Manchete and Cartoon Network , with short exhibitions on TV Bandeirantes , Rede 21 de São Paulo and PlayTV in the mid-2000s.
