Pony Canyon YuruYuri OVA . The premiere takes place on November 29th in Japan.
The Yuruyuri anime adapts the manga by Namori, which involves four fun-loving schoolgirls who take over the former room of a tea ceremony club for their own “Gorakubu” (amusement club). Soon after starting high school, Akari Akaza joins the Amusement Club which is made up only of her two childhood friends, Kyouko and Yui Toshinou Funami. Chinatsu Yoshikawa, fellow Akaza, becomes a member after finding out about the Tea Club's disbandment.
The Amusement Club, situated in the tea room facility since the tea club disbanded, has no clear purpose, being free for the girls to do as they please.
The first anime series premiered in Japan in July 2011, pay channel Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired. The series had 12 episodes and a sequel in 2012, Crunchyroll is also broadcast. JManga and ALC Publishing released part of the original manga digitally in English before JManga ended last year.
