During the Jump Festa 2020 , it was announced that the manga Yuukoku no Moriarty (Moriarty the Patriot) by author Ryosuke Takeuchi and Hikaru Miyoshi will be adapted into an anime .
Moriarty the Patriot (Yuukoku no Moriarty) began publication in August 2016 and a novel began publication in November 2018.
Finally, the story follows James Moriarty , the famous antagonist of the Sherlock Holmes series who takes the name William James Moriarty , after he and his younger brother are adopted by the Moriarty family.
