The new anime Yuusha-kei ni Shosu: Choubatsu Yuusha 9004-tai Keimu Kiroku ( Sentenced To Be a Hero ) has received a new trailer and visual. Fans can now also take note of the series premiere.

Synopsis of Yuusha-kei ni Shosu

Heroism—a punishment only for the worst criminals. Those condemned to the hero's fate are forced to fight on the front lines against the demon king's army—and if they die, all they can hope for is to be revived and continue the battle. But when their leader, condemned for killing a goddess, meets another goddess, the contract they make may be enough to change the world…

The Sentenced to Be a Hero novel began in Kakuyomu in October 2020, while the light novel under ASCII Media Works' Dengeki no Shin Bungei imprint began publication in September 2021. Finally, a manga debuted in the web magazine Dengeki Comic Regulus in March 2022.
