The anime Scum of the Brave (Yuusha no Kuzu) has released its second promotional video, featuring a preview of the opening theme "Gun Powder," performed by TOOBOE. Additionally, the team released a commemorative illustration by toi8, celebrating the Japanese TV premiere.

The series premieres in Japan on January 10th, airing on NTV and affiliated stations. Meanwhile, the anime will first arrive on the streaming services dAnime Store and Hulu, followed by AT-X. Globally, Crunchyroll will stream the episodes simultaneously. The project will feature two consecutive cours (arcs), without programming breaks.

The main cast includes Ryōta Suzuki, Akari Kitō, and Yumiri Hanamori, among other prominent names. Shinji Ushiro directs , with a script supervised by Yoichi Kato and a soundtrack by Kenichiro Suehiro. The animation is produced by OLM studio .

Based on the manga by Rocket Shokai, published since 2018, Scum of the Brave (Yuusha no Kuzu) presents an alternate future where gangsters become "Demon Kings," and hunters known as Braves must stop them. Thus, the series blends action, crime, and urban fantasy, expanding interest among fans of anime news and new seasonal releases.
