The light novel Yuusha no Kuzu ( Scum of the Brave ), written by Rocket Shokai and illustrated by Yūya Kusaka, had its anime adaptation announced this Saturday (15).

Therefore, the anime staff revealed a teaser and an image. The animation is by OLM (Komi Can't Communicate) studio.

Yuusha no Kuzu Synopsis:

"Being a hero? That's for scum, the worst kind of people." In the mid-21st century, Tokyo's underworld is dominated by mafias who, through ether-enhancement surgeries (magic), have transformed themselves into Demons . Thus, to combat these demons, bounty hunters—the so-called Heroes . The Heroes use a drug called E3 to amplify their magical abilities and fight the demons.

Yuusha no Kuzu is a Japanese light novel written by Rocket Shokai and illustrated by Yūya Kusaka. The work was originally serialized as a web novel published on Kadokawa Corporation's Kakuyomu website between February and March 2016. A standalone volume debuted with Fujimi Shobo under the Kadokawa Books imprint in December of the same year. Additionally, a manga adaptation, illustrated by Nakashima723, began as a standalone project in June 2018 and later began serializing on Leed Publishing's Comic Border manga website starting in February 2022.
