Yuusha no Kuzu Synopsis:

"Being a hero? That's for scum, the worst kind of people." In the mid-21st century, Tokyo's underworld is dominated by mafias who, through ether-enhanced (magical) surgeries, have transformed themselves into Demons. Thus, to confront these demons, bounty hunters emerged—the so-called Heroes. The heroes use a drug called E3 to amplify their magical abilities and fight the demons.

Therefore, Yuusha no Kuzu is a Japanese light novel written by Rocket Shokai and illustrated by Yūya Kusaka. Originally, the work was serialized as a web novel published on Kadokawa Corporation's Kakuyomu website between February and March 2016. A single volume debuted through Fujimi Shobo, under the Kadokawa Books imprint, in December of the same year. Additionally, a manga adaptation, illustrated by Nakashima723, began as an independent project in June 2018 and subsequently began serialization on Leed Publishing's Comic Border manga website in February 2022.
