Yuusha, Yamemasu – Anime adaptation announced

Publisher Kadokawa announced today that the light novelYuusha, Yamemasu: Tsugi no Shokuba wa Maoujou ( I'm Quitting Heroing) anime adaptation that will premiere in April 2022 .

Voice actors

  • Kensho Ono as Leo Demonheart
  • Kaede Hondo as Echidna
  • Shizuka Itou as Steiner
  • Hitomi Ohwada as Lily
  • Yumi Uchiyama as Mernes
  • Tetsu Inada as Edvard

Yuu Nobuta will serve as the main director, while Hisashi Ishii is directing the adaptation at EMT Squared . Shigeru Murakoshi is responsible for the series' scripts, and Yuki Nakano is designing the characters.

Synopsis

Hey! If you're unhappy with your job, I present to you the story of a Hero who gave up his career. After saving the world, Leo, the Hero, who had nowhere else to go (since such overwhelming power was useless in a world of peace), decided to interview for a job, and guess what? The workplace was the demonic army he had once fought.

“Yuusha, Yamemasu” began its serialization on the story website “ Kakuyomu ” in January 2017.
