Currently, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom leads with 95 points on Metacritic , followed by Breath of the Wild , which won 94 on Switch 2 (in addition to its original 97 in the first switch). Therefore, Clair Obscu: Expedition 33 lost the general crown, but follows as the best rated new game in 2025, with grade 93.
Nintendo Switch 2 Zelda and other games
With the arrival of these two Nintendo giants, the Blue Prince (Note 92) and Split Fiction (Note 91) games fell to the fourth and fifth positions, respectively. Although the Ports have received little improvements, their original quality remains undeniable, which justifies the high evaluations.
