This Wednesday (16), Nintendo announced the actors for the long-awaited live-action version of the game The Legend of Zelda . The launch takes place on May 7, 2027.
However, Bo Bragason ( IMDB ), a 21-year-old British actress, will play Princess Zelda . She has already starred in productions such as Renegade Nell (Disney+) and The Jetty (BBC One).

Benjamin Evan Ainsworth ( IMDB ), 16, will play Link in the film. He gained notoriety for his performance in The Haunting of Bly Manor (Netflix) and for voicing the protagonist in Disney's live-action remake of Pinocchio .

The direction is by Wes Ball , responsible for the Maze Runner . In addition, Shigeru Miyamoto , creator of the franchise, oversees the production in partnership with Avi Arad , producer of Spider-Man and Venom .

The casting ends months of rumors, including Hunter Schafer's role as Zelda. However, the confirmation of the main cast signals the beginning of a new phase for the film adaptation.
Although the plot and other characters have not been revealed, fans around the world are already speculating how the kingdom of Hyrule will come to life on the big screen.
