However, he becomes overjoyed when he realizes he no longer needs to work thanks to a zombie apocalypse. The zombie chase scene then received extra attention from the animation studio to create a significant impact in the anime's premiere.

Synopsis:

The survival story of a zombie apocalypse is always better than being a wage slave! After spending years working as a slave for a soul-destroying company, Akira's life has lost its meaning. He lives in a garbage-filled apartment, his salary is terrible, and he can't even muster the courage to confess his love to his beautiful coworker. But when a zombie apocalypse breaks out in his city, he gets the push he needs to live for himself. Now Akira is on a mission to complete all 100 items on his list before he dies.
