In the first episode of Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead, the protagonist, Akira Tendo, feels immense frustration at being exploited by the company he works for. However, he becomes extremely happy when he realizes he no longer has to work thanks to a zombie apocalypse. So the zombie chase scene received an extra touch from the animation studio to create a big impact on the anime's premiere.

Synopsis:

A zombie apocalypse survival story is always better than being a wage slave! After years of slaving for a soul-destroying company, Akira's life has lost its meaning. He lives in a trash-filled apartment, his salary is terrible, and he can't even muster the courage to confess his love to his beautiful coworker. But when a zombie apocalypse begins in his city, he gets the push he needs to live for himself. Now Akira is on a mission to complete all 100 items on his list before he dies.
