Synopsis Zombie no Afureta Sekai:
The story follows a former office worker who finds himself in the middle of a zombie apocalypse. The strange thing? For some reason, he's the only one not being attacked by the undead. With this advantage, he decides to live selfishly, making the most of his new reality. Everything changes when he finds a survivor girl in distress—and only agrees to help her if he receives something in return.
However, the Japanese light novel In a World Full of Zombies (Zombie no Afureta Sekai) began its journey in January 2013 in the adult male section of the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website. Over time, the work gained prominence and was acquired by the publisher Frontier Works in February 2016. The story's success also led to a manga adaptation illustrated by Chihiro Masuda, published online on the Comic Ragchew website in June 2021, with three collected volumes released so far.
Ultimately, the series blends dark humor, survival, and selfish choices in a world overrun by zombies.
