Zombie Land Saga fans rejoice! We have the first trailer for Zombie Land Saga: Yumeginga Paradise . The film was announced in 2021 with animation by MAPPA (Attack on Titan).
Additionally, MAPPA revealed an promotional visual (Visual Key), making fans even more excited for the release.
Producer Nobuhiro Takenaka (Cygames) commented on the film's progress:
From the film's announcement to the confirmation of its theatrical release, a lot has happened. In a world that changes so rapidly, we sometimes feel lost, unable to keep up. But in the meantime, this story has been built, piece by piece.
Three years have passed since the announcement, but we've never stopped thinking about Franchouchou and the land of Saga . I hope that through this film, we can bring a little bit of dreams and hope straight from Saga to each of you.
Zombie Land Saga Synopsis:
The anime follows Sakura Minamoto, who dreams of being an idol, but is hit by a car and wakes up as a zombie. A man named Kōtarō Tatsumi appears and tells her he's recruiting her for an idol group made up of zombies—dead girls he's "recruited" from various eras of Japanese history.
Zombie Land Saga is a Japanese animated television series produced by MAPPA, avex pictures, and Cygames. The series aired in Japan between October and December 2018. A second season titled Zombie Land Saga Revenge premiered in 2021. However, a manga adaptation began serialization on Cygames' Cycomi website in October 2018.
