Tobirano wrote and Chikage Nakakura illustrated the light novel (also known as Betrothed to My Sister's Ex ) that inspired the anime. The production team announced the premiere for July 4, 2025. See the names of the voice actors and the visuals of their characters:
Tetsuya Kakihara will play Toppo , the chef at Kyuros's estate.
Tatsuyuki Kobayashi will play Thomas , an attendant at Kyuros's estate.
Yuka Aisaka will play Tunica , a hot bath attendant at Kyuros's estate.

Studio LandQ (Sword Gai) is producing the anime, and Takayuki Kitagawa (Tokyo 7th Sisters) is directing the series. Masakazu Sunagawa (Tokyo 7th Sisters) is the assistant director. Kenta Ihara (Saga of Tanya the Evil) is writing and supervising the series scripts, and Akiko Satō (Trigun Stampede) is the character designer.
Marie, the youngest daughter of an impoverished baron, lives treated like a servant by her parents and wears simple, worn-out clothes. Despite this, she maintains a kind heart and is devoted to her family. At a birthday party organized for her, the true star is her older sister, Anastasia, who is treated like a princess. Sad, Marie leaves the party and happens to meet the wealthy Count Kyros Granado. The Count falls in love with Marie at first sight, but due to a misunderstanding, he ends up proposing to Anastasia.
