A new promotional video for the anime Z/X: Code Reunion was released on the anime's official website October 8 this year. The adaptation is animated by the studio Passione and directed by Yoshifumi Sueda.
The adaptation of the card game of the same name also features a script by Tatsuhiko Urahata and a performance by Yui Ogura and Noriyasu Agematsu (from the group Elements Garden) for the opening and ending themes, respectively.
The Z/X series has already had another anime adaptation, in 2014 by the Telecom Animation Film .
