Yūki Kimikawa's light novel, Welcome to the Outcast's Restaurant! (Tsuihōsha Shokudō e Yōkoso), has had its anime adaptation announced.
Therefore, the new anime Welcome to the Outcast's Restaurant! will premiere in 2025 in Japan.
Synopsis:
Leave everything in the hands of the most powerful cook of all! Betrayed by those he considered friends, Dennis was exiled from one of the strongest guilds: the Silver Wings Battalion . But he wasn't too bothered by it, as he was eager to use his level 99 culinary skills. Therefore, he decided to leave the city behind and open a restaurant in the countryside. While pursuing his dream, Dennis meets Atrielle, a young woman exiled from her noble family and forced into slavery, until he rescues her. Together, they open the restaurant, and their first customer is… an exiled knight from another guild? How unusual. But she's not the only customer: an arrogant mage and an overworked, underpaid sage also become regulars.
Therefore, Kimikawa launched the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2018. Overlap published the first volume of the light novel in 2019 and the third volume in June 2020, licensed by Tentai Books.
The manga adaptation by Tsumumi debuted on Overlap's Comic Gardo website in 2019. Overlap eventually published the first compiled volume of the manga in May 2020 and the eighth volume on June 25. Kaiten Books publishes the manga in English.
