The editorial department of Kodansha 's Weekly Young Magazine announced on Twitter that the manga Nande Koko ni Sensei ga!? by author Saborou has gone on hiatus.
The manga will not have a new chapter in the 39th issue of the magazine due to the author's sudden illness, but it will still appear on the cover and is listed in the index.
Saborou explained on his Twitter account that he has been experiencing medical problems since the manga's serialization began.
Despite trying to ignore it, the problems started to worsen at the beginning of this year, and work was becoming difficult.
After consulting with the magazine's editorial department, they decided to put the manga on hiatus.

Nande Koko ni Sensei ga!? launched in Weekly Young Magazine in April 2017, and currently has 10 volumes.
The manga also received an anime adaptation in 2019 by Tear Studio , licensed by Sentai Filmworks , airing between April and June, with 12 episodes plus an OVA.
