A new film titled Kin no Kuni Mizu no Kuni has been announced by MadHouse ( No Game No Life: Zero ). According to reports, it will be released in 2023.
Therefore, the direction is by Kotono Watanabe at MadHouse studio, story by Fumi Tsubota (Waccha PriMagi!) and animation by Mitsuyuki Masuhara (Kobato).
Synopsis:
The story takes place in a world where two kingdoms have had a long and terrible relationship. To try and end the conflict, the princess and prince of each kingdom decide to pretend to be in love. However, as they get closer, true feelings begin to emerge, and what was once just a lie becomes reality.
