NCB Universal announced in Japan that Ray (Nagi no Asukara, Amnesia) will sing the opening theme for the Waiting in the Summer special, known here as Ano Natsu de Matteru , while singer Nagi Yanagi (Black Bullet) will be responsible for performing the ending theme song, all for the new single.
Kotoko wrote the lyrics for the opening theme, and the titles of both songs not yet been announced. The singles will be shipped together on the same disc in Japan on August 29th , and will be sold for ¥1,296 (approximately US $13 ). The singers also performed the theme songs for the TV .
The new OVA will be released on Blu -ray on November 27 for ¥4,800 (approximately US$47 ), and on DVD for ¥3,800 ( US$37). The Complete Blu -ray Box will include the TV series , the new OVA , a special box designed original character designer Taraku Uon , a manga illustrated by character designer Masayoshi Tanaka, a drama CD two soundtrack CDs , a special booklet , and a priority ticket for a fan event to be held October 26. The box set will be sold for ¥24,800 (US$ 243) on August 29 .
