The Simpsons' tribute to filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki!

With the announcement that animation filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki not retire after the film The Wind Rises, Matt Groening and his team took advantage of the most recent episode of The Simpsons to pay homage to the Japanese director of Spirited Away, The Animated Castle and Ponyo.

You can check out the scene in which Homer finds everything from the cat bus from My Friend Totoro, in the form of driver Otto, to the animated castle in the form of the Kwik E-Mart:

The Simpsons is currently shown in Brazil and the USA on Sundays on Fox.
