The highly anticipated second season of Free! has been given the green light and will happen. The information was announced via a poster shown at an event held by Kyoto Animation . The first season ended with a message of "See you next summer" in the final episode.
The anime premiered in July in Japan, and the Crunchyroll currently streams it.
Free! revolves around the character Haruka Nanase , a boy who has always loved being in the water and swimming. Before graduating from elementary school, he participated in a tournament with his swimming club colleagues (Makoto Tachibana, Hazuki Nagisa, and Rin Matsuoka). After winning, each went their separate ways.
