The official website for the anime of the manga A Couple of Cuckoos (Kakkou no Iinazuke) by author Miki Yoshikawa ( Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches ) has announced its anime adaptation.
According to the announcement, the series A Couple of Cuckoos (Kakkou no Iinazuke) is scheduled to premiere in 2022.
Furthermore, the series is directed by Yoshiyuki Shirahata Shinei Animation (Takagi-san, Doraemon) and Synergy SP studios , with scripts by Yasuhiro Nakanishi (Kaguya-sama).
Synopsis:
The story follows Nagi Umino, a second-year high school student who discovers he was mistakenly given to the wrong family by the hospital at birth. One day, on his way to find his biological parents, he meets Erika Amano, a girl trying to escape an arranged marriage set up by her parents.
Finally, the manga began serialization in Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine in early 2020.
