TV Tokyo announced that the long-awaited new Pokémon XY anime series will premiere on October 17th, replacing the current Pokémon Best Wishes series. Trainers have received a slight makeover, including a new outfit. Froakie (Keromatsu), Chespin (Harimaron), and Fennekin (Fokko) will be the first new Pokémon.
Synopsis: Ash will continue as the protagonist alongside Pikachu. The two will travel to Lumiose City (Miare), located in the center of the Kalos region. Upon their arrival, they will encounter never-before-seen Pokémon and make new friends. Ash will continue his journey to become a Pokémon Master and will do everything he can to compete in the Kalos League.
