Square Enix revealed a new trailer titled " Ambition " for the game Final Fantasy XVI this Thursday.
The video shows the game's story, including the introduction of the "Dominants" who have the ability to summon a terrifying power in the kingdom of Valisthea. The trailer also shows some gameplay.

The action RPG will launch for PS5 as a console exclusive. Although an initial live-streamed trailer listed a PC , the trailer and the official website do not list a PC version to date.
Square Enix's creative division, " Business Unit III, Naoki Yoshida (Final Fantasy XIV) is in charge of production for this new game in the franchise, while Hiroshi Takai (Final Fantasy XIV) will handle the direction.
Naoki Yoshida stated in June that the game was in its "final stage of development," with the game's development team focusing on polishing the game. Yoshida previously stated that "complications arising from the COVID-19 pandemic delayed the game's development by almost half a year.".
