Neon Genesis Evangelion series is celebrating its 30th anniversary, and to commemorate this, a special exhibition will be held in Japan. Titled ALL OF EVANGELION , the exhibition arrives in Tokyo in November promising to enchant fans with never-before-seen materials and a complete journey through the franchise's entire history.

The exhibition will feature previously unseen materials from the series and films

Scheduled between November 14, 2025, and January 12, 2026 , the exhibition will take place at Tokyo City View , bringing together original artwork, design documents, and never-before-seen digital content. As reported by Anime Corner , the event is supported by Studio Khara , the Anime Tokusatsu Archive Organization , and other important partners.

ALL OF EVANGELION – 30th Anniversary Exhibition

Furthermore, it will be possible to closely examine elements from the classic 1995 series up to the conclusion of the Rebuild of Evangelion . One of the highlights is the presence of digital materials from the film Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time , released in 2021 and considered the definitive conclusion of the saga.

Evangelion shaped modern anime over 30 years

Created by Hideaki Anno and produced by Gainax , Evangelion redefined the mecha genre by exploring psychological, existential, and apocalyptic themes. Although the anime began in the 1990s, its influence remains current, with new products, collaborations with famous brands—such as McDonald's—and adaptations for various media.

Undeniably, the franchise has spanned generations and inspired other works throughout these three decades. Therefore, this exhibition represents a rare opportunity to experience all of this evolution in a single space.

The event will be exclusive to Japan for now

However, there's an important detail: the exhibition will only be held in Japan. In other words, fans from other countries will have to follow it through photos or videos. While there are expectations for a traveling or digital version in the future, currently access to the event remains restricted to Tokyo.

Finally, this celebration reinforces Evangelion on pop culture and its importance in the history of anime worldwide.
