Synopsis
The story follows Juzo Ogami , a 40-year-old assassin working for the criminal organization ZOO , considered the group's elite killer. During a mission against criminals linked to the genetic engineering company Mitsuoka Pharmaceuticals , Ogami is stung by a wasp that alters his DNA, causing his age to regress to that of a 12-year-old.
Unable to continue working as an assassin due to his childish appearance, the zoo chief gives him a new mission while they search for a cure: infiltrate a school where the chief's daughter plans to attend and assess its safety. To everyone's surprise, Ogami—who has never had a formal education—discovers that he enjoys school life. Now, he must balance his routine as a student and as an assassin.
Noren Mitsuoka also appears , who may be the key to bringing Ogami back to his real age.
Finally, Kill Blue was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump between April 2023 and September 2025, being compiled into ten tankōbon volumes by June 2025.
