According to Shounen Jump , the second season of the anime Dr. Stone has been officially confirmed. The series was a highlight this year and its renewal has been guaranteed.
The story revolves around Taiju Ooki, who experiences a gigantic catastrophe that affects all of humanity, turning them to stone. As the only survivors, it falls to Taiju and his brilliant scientist friend, Senkuu, to bring humanity out of the Stone Age and back to the Modern Era.
However, the series is animated by TMS Entertainment and directed by Shinya Iino (Assistant Director on Made in Abyss).
Finally, Boichi (Sun-Ken Rock) and Inagaki (Eyeshield 21) began publishing Dr. Stone in Weekly Shonen Jump in March 2017.
