The publisher JBC announced via a live stream that the InuYasha manga will be getting a re-release .
The re-release will be in Tankobon , allowing the 56 volumes of the previous format to be compiled into just 30 .
In addition, the re-release will feature color pages .
In Japan, Inuyasha was originally published between 1996 and 2008 in Shonen Sunday magazine. In Brazil, the publisher JBC published the work between 2002 and 2009 in 112 volumes of half-tankōbon format. In 2016, the manga was the subject of a popular vote conducted by the publisher JBC to determine whether to relaunch the work.
At the same time, it's good to remember that Inuyasha will get an anime sequel titled Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon (Hanyō no Yasha-hime), which will premiere on Japanese TV in October and will be animated by Sunrise .
