The first trailer for the second season of the anime Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei (The Irregular at Magic High School) has been revealed.
The new season arrives on Japanese TV in July and will adapt the arc of the same name from the original light novel series by author Tsutomu Satou .
Risako Yoshida is directing the anime at Studio 8-Bit.
Finally, the Mahouka Koukou arc covers volumes 9 to 11 of the light novel. Majiko! drew a manga adaptation of the arc in Square Enix , which launched in December 2015 and ended on June 18. The sixth and final volume of the manga was released on September 10.
