Sakamoto Days gets a new image from the anime

On social media, the anime Sakamoto Days has received a new promotional image. The series will premiere in January 2025.

The animation is from the studio TMS Entertainment and directed by Masaki Watanabe.

Sakamoto Days Synopsis

In the anime, Taro Sakamoto was the world's greatest assassin, feared by villains and admired by assassins. One day, he fell in love! Retirement, marriage, fatherhood, and then... Sakamoto gained weight! But the chubby guy who runs the neighborhood store is actually a legendary former assassin! Can he protect his family from danger? Get ready to experience a new kind of comedy and action manga.

Finally, Sakamoto's Days manga was relaunched with 16 volumes in tankōbon format, available in April 2024 in Japan.
