It has been announced by Netflix that Ghost in the Shell 2045 series anime will be directed by veteran Kenji Kamiyama, responsible for 'Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex', one of the most acclaimed anime series inspired by Masamune Shirow's manga.
The studio Production IG stated that the anime will have two seasons of 12 episodes each.
Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 is scheduled for 2020.
