The official website for the Given anime that the franchise will have a new DVD live - action adaptation . The DVD is titled Given: Uragawa no Sonzai , and will focus on the characters Mafuyu and Ritsuka during the events that took place in the film. The disc will be released alongside the limited edition of the seventh volume of the manga , which will be released on December 1st.
The live-action series will then have six episodes, and will premiere on Fuji TV's "FOD" streaming service on July 17. The adaptation will star Jin Suzuki playing the character Ritsuka Uenoyama , singer Sanari as Mafuyu Satou , Kai Inowaki as Akihiko Kaji and Shuntarou Yanagi as Haruki Nakayama .
Given's anime premiered on Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block in July 2019.
