MAiDiGi has released the trailer for the final film Godzilla: The Planet Eater (Godzilla: Hoshi wo Kuu Mono) anime film trilogy produced by Polygon Pictures .
The first film arrived in November 2017 in Japan and premiered on Netflix on January 17, 2018. The second film premiered in Japan in May and arrived on Netflix on July 18, 2018.
Polygon Pictures (Knights of Sidonia) is in charge of the animation, directed by Kobun Shizuno (Detective Conan, Knights of Sidonia) and Hiroyuki Seshita (Blame!, Ajin), and the story was written by Gen Urobuchi, who has already introduced us to works such as Madoka Magica, Fate/Zero, and Psycho-Pass.
Godzilla inspired two animated series in the West, one by Hanna-Barbera in 1978 and one that served as a sequel to the 1998 film.
