The second season of Grand Blue will be released on July 7, 2025 , animated by studio Zero-G x Liber .
Synopsis: Grand Blue
Iori Kitahara eagerly anticipates his new life on the Izu Peninsula as he prepares to begin his university studies there, staying in a room above his uncle's diving shop. However, he is shocked to find the local Diving Club, a group full of men who spend more time drinking, partying, and stripping than actually diving. Despite his attempts to distance himself from the group, Iori is quickly drawn into their antics, while his cousins try to show him the wonders of ocean diving.
Kenji Inoue writes the manga, while Kimitake Yoshioka does the art. Its serialization began in April 2014 in Kodansha's Good! Afternoon
The first season of the anime, produced by Studio Zero-G, premiered in July 2018. Finally, the franchise also received a live-action film adaptation, released in August 2020.
