The update will not initially be available for the Nintendo Switch 2, which is expected to receive it at a later date. Older versions, such as the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, will not be included.

Automatic driving debuts with Delamain taxi service
One of the update's highlights is the AutoDrive system, which allows players to navigate Night City without needing to control their vehicle. Additionally, players can activate the feature at any time by selecting a destination on the map, providing greater convenience, especially on long journeys.
The Delamain taxi service also returns in style. Now fully functional, the system allows you to request rides with cinematic cameras that highlight the city's futuristic look. This new feature offers a more dynamic and visually immersive transportation experience.
New missions unlock new vehicles
In addition to the technical changes, update 2.3 includes new missions that unlock three cars and a motorcycle. Players unlock each vehicle by completing missions and can add them to their garage.
These extra missions enrich the narrative and reward exploration, encouraging players to revisit less-explored areas of Night City.

Photo mode gains creative features and greater control
Cyberpunk 2077's photo mode has been supercharged. You can now customize the weather and time of day when capturing scenes. Additionally, the update includes new NPC poses, clothing, stickers, and frames, offering a wider range of visual options.
These tools transform photo mode into a more creative and personalized experience, ideal for those who like to record epic moments within the game.
Update brings support for advanced graphics technologies
From a technical point of view, version 2.3 adds support for VRR, AMD FSR 4, AMD FSR 3.1 Frame Generation and Intel XeSS 2.0, improving visual performance and game fluidity.
Additionally, HDR settings have been optimized, ensuring more intense and realistic colors. These improvements reinforce the game's ability to deliver a high-quality visual experience, especially on more powerful consoles and PCs.
However, despite the global launch scheduled for July 17, Nintendo Switch 2 players will have to wait a little longer. CD Projekt RED will make the update available for the platform in the future, but has not yet set an exact date.
