The first trailer for the series “ SuperGirl ” was released, lasting approximately 6 minutes, by the CBS .
The series will feature Danvers (Melissa Benoist), or Kara Zor-El, Superman's cousin, and Alexandra "Alex" Danvers (Chyler Leigh), Kara's Earthling sister.
The story unfolds when Kara arrives on Earth at age 12, after leaving the planet Krypton, and is adopted by the Danvers family—who teach her to be careful with her powers. After repressing her abilities for a decade, Kara is forced to publicly display her gifts during an unexpected disaster.
The premiere takes place between September and November on CBS.
