Captain Earth , a new series being produced by Studio BONES has begun airing on Japanese television. The anime will premiere on April 5th on MBS Believer's High " by the band Flumpool can be heard in the video .
Yasushi Muraki is in charge of special effects direction , while Masaru Yanaka and Koji Eto are in charge of art, with Takeshi Takahashi as the character designer. Koki Ota is directing the CG, Yoshiyuki Asai is serving as assistant director, and Shigeru Nishiyama is the anime's editor.
Synopsis – The story begins when second-year student Daichi Manatsu suddenly sees a halo (circular rainbow) in the night sky over Tanegashima Island on television, on the eve of summer vacation.
He thinks, "I've seen that rainbow before..." So, he heads to Tanegashima, the headquarters of the Japanese space agency, on his own. Haunted by the mystery of his father's accidental death and memories of mysterious boys and girls he knew during his childhood, Daichi arrives on the island full of emotional complexes and encounters the robot "Earth Engine." Daichi is then asked, "Are you the captain?" The target is the mysterious mechanical life form "Kirutogangu," which will invade Earth from Uranus. With this premise, the anime promises to deliver a more traditional mecha anime, packed with fights and battles.
