The second season of The Detective Is Already Dead ( Tantei wa Mō, Shindeiru. ) has received its first promotional video and official visual. This news came alongside a special announcement involving a Nintendo Switch game , expanding the universe of the work created by Nigojū.

The trailer introduces the character Noches, who appears identical to Detective Siesta. Voice actress Saki Miyashita returns to portray both characters, raising new questions about the series' plot.
The premiere of the new season has been postponed to October, after an initial forecast for July. The anime continues under the direction of Manabu Kurihara at the ENGI studio. The scripts remain by Deko Akao, while Yōsuke Itō is in charge of the visuals.

The main cast returns in full, including Kimihiko, Siesta, Nagisa, Yui, and Charlotte. The second season was originally announced in July 2022, maintaining continued interest in the adaptation.
