The anime Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru has once again caught the attention of fans after details of the Blu-ray/DVD version of episode 6 surfaced online. Before the release, many believed that the physical edition would have changes to the most talked-about scenes from the season that aired in 2022.

However, producer Shouta Umehara confirmed that the content remained virtually identical to what was broadcast on television. Expectations for extra scenes and visual alterations did not materialize in the final Blu-ray version of the anime.
The episode sparked debate among fans
At the time of its airing, episode 6 gained traction on social media due to some sequences involving Marin Kitagawa and Wakana Gojou. Even so, the production team opted to keep the original material without significant changes for the physical release of the series.
Based on the manga by Shinichi Fukuda, the anime follows Wakana Gojou, a young hina doll maker, who meets Marin, a girl passionate about cosplay. From then on, the two begin producing costumes together and develop an unusual friendship.
The anime continues without an official continuation
The anime premiered in January 2022 with 12 episodes produced by CloverWorks studio. Despite the adaptation's strong popularity, a second season had not yet been confirmed at the time this information was originally published.
