Warner Bros. Japan has released a teaser for the new Gintama anime . According to the website, the video reveals that the film will be released on January 8, 2021.
The teaser begins with Gintoki complaining that he can't do his job because he has to stay home during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
Finally, the manga will also be adapted into a new anime special with a story that connects to the film. It will premiere exclusively in Japan on an online digital TV service in "early 2021".
