Arakawa is responsible for one of the most moving manga ever made, Your Lie in April, which debuted in Kodansha's Monthly Shonen Magazine in 2011 and ended in February 2015. Kodansha published the 11th and final volume in May 2015 in Japan. The manga inspired a 22-episode anime adaptation that premiered in October 2014. It also inspired a live-action film that premiered in 2016. The manga is not available in Brazil, but the anime can be found on Crunchyroll.

Synopsis

Kousei Arima is a prodigious pianist who, due to the harsh training imposed by his mother and instructor, is traumatized and unable to play the piano after her death. His daily life has since become bitter and gray, but this changes when he meets a violinist full of personality. Charmed by the girl, Kousei begins to rekindle his passion for music.

More recently, Arakawa serialized the manga Sayonara Watashi no Cramer (Farewell, My Dear Cramer), a sequel to the previous 2-volume manga Sayonara, Football. Sayonara, Watashi no Cramer debuted in Monthly Shonen Magazine in May 2016 and ended in December 2020 with 14 volumes.

Finally, Kodansha Comics released the manga in print and digitally simultaneously with its Japanese release. Both Sayonara Watashi no Cramer and Sayonara, Football inspired a film and a television anime. The Sayonara Watashi no Cramer anime premiered in April 2021, while Eiga Sayonara Watashi no Cramer First Touch, the anime adaptation of Sayonara Football, premiered in June 2021.
