Hari ini akan menjadi upacara penghargaan yang paling dinantikan tahun ini untuk game yang paling menonjol di tahun 2013, Penghargaan VGX , yang hingga tahun lalu disebut “Penghargaan Video Game”.
Nominasi untuk penghargaan utama, game tahun ini, adalah: BioShock Infinite, Grand Theft Auto V, Super Mario 3D World, The Last of Us dan Tomb Raider.
Selain kategori ini, ada 20 kategori lainnya, mulai dari game terbaik berdasarkan platform – PC , Xbox , Nintendo , dan PlayStation, hingga penghargaan untuk pengisi suara dan aktris suara terbaik.
