The new anime Yu Yu Hakusho was revealed during Jump Festa 2018 this weekend!
Big news caught fans by surprise this weekend, especially the old-school fans. An announcement at the Bandai Visual booth during the Jump Festa 2018 event this Saturday (12/16) showed that Yu Yu Hakusho will get a new anime .
We don't know anything about this new animated work yet, but fans will definitely be keeping an eye out. More information is expected in the future.
Yoshihiro Togashi, the author of the Hunter X Hunter , published the original work from 1990 to 1994. Viz Media began publishing the manga in its English edition of Shonen Jump in 2002 and also released all 19 volumes. The manga follows 14-year-old delinquent Yusuke Urameshi, who dies after saving a child from a car accident. The spirit world is surprised by his death and offers him the chance to return as a "spirit detective" tasked with defeating demons.

The television anime adaptation produced by Studio Pierrot ran from 1992 to 1995 and is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. The series also inspired two films and two OVAs.
