As fans already know , the Saint Seiya : Saintia Shō manga by author Chimaki Kuori will soon be getting an anime adaptation, this time confirmed for 2019, as well as its anticipated December release on the ANIMAX on PlayStation streaming service.
The series will introduce a new class of Athena's warriors, known as Saintia, different from the warriors who appeared in the classic saga by author Masami Kurumada , called Amazons in the original. They are Athena's personal guard, and are only seen protecting her, which is why they are considered legends where they go to protect the sanctuary from Eris, the goddess of discord.
Currently on Netflix is the anime Knights of the Zodiac: Saint Seiya, which is a remake of the classic Saint Seiya series and is also being produced by Toei Animation .
