The official website Tsutomu Satou Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei (“The Irregular at Magic High School”) has announced a new trailer.

The story takes place in a world where magic isn't a fairy tale, but has existed for almost a hundred years. In the spring, Magic University welcomes new students, including twin brothers Tatsuya and Miyuki Shiba. From that moment on, the university will never be the same.

Satou began releasing the novel in 2008 with illustrations by Kana Ishida (character designer of Aquarion Evol).

The series is scheduled to premiere in April, the animation studio is Madhouse, the direction is by Manabu Ono (Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere, Saki Episode of Side A) and the character design is by Ishida Kana.
