Synopsis
Following a series of Hollow murders and several disappearances in the Rukongai district, it is revealed that the Quincy were actually alive. The Quincy, to jog their memory, are an order of human reishi-manipulating mediums who kill Hollows instead of purifying them like the Soul Society. It is thought that they were killed en masse by the Society 1000 years ago, with the exception of the Ishida family.
The Japanese voice actors for the anime include members who did not appear in the anime but are reprising their roles from the game Bleach: Brave Souls.
