According to information released in Comic Natalie on January 5th, a new manga called Mato Seihei no Slave (Slave of the Magic Capital's Elite Troops) will be launched in Shonen Jump+ by authors Takahiro and Tetsuya Tashiro , both from the acclaimed and fan-criticized Akame ga KILL !.
The new project will feature battles and fantasy following a group of people in an alternative space nicknamed Mato (capital of magic).
anime adaptation was announced in January 2014. The series was directed by Tomoki Kobayashi, written by Makoto Uezu, and Taku Iwasaki composed the soundtrack. The series premiered on TV Tokyo MX, MBS, and BS11 on July 6, 2014.
Both authors finished the Akame ga KILL! manga in December 2017, and its prequel , Akame ga Kill Zero, will conclude with its 10th volume.
Takahiro also contributed the original concept for Yuki Yuna Is a Hero and the story composition for Release the Spyce.
