KOEI Tecmo has released a five-minute animated trailer for the game Toukiden Kiwami. The game is scheduled for release on August 28th. The standard PS Vita will be sold for 5,800 yen (approximately US$57), while the downloadable version will cost ¥5,143 (US$ 51).
The standard PlayStation Portable version will cost ¥4,800 (US$ 47) , while the download edition will be available for ¥4,286 ( US $42 ). The Treasure Box edition will include a Tenko plush toy , art book , soundtrack CD , and a download code for six character costumes . This set will sell for ¥11,800 (US$116 ) for the PlayStation Vita and ¥10,800 (US$ 106) for the PlayStation Portable . Early copies of the game will also include a download code for Soma and Reki costumes.
The original game is set several years after a temporal cataclysm that unleashed demons into the human world . Players control a demon hunter tasked with ridding the world of the new threat. The studio Omega -Force, which developed the Musou ( warrior) franchise , and Hidari ( Fractale, Natsu-iro Kiseki , Vividred Operation ) designed the characters for the game. Studio 4 °C animated a short film to promote the game .
